Skin Secrets for the Dry Winter Skin❄️
Do you know the difference between Hydration & Moisturization? Your skin needs BOTH, especially in the cold, dry seasons. Watch this video to find out how!
📝Summary:
*Hydration = The water-content of your skin
*Moisturization = The oil-content of your skin
➠➠Your skin needs BOTH to stay nourished & healthy.
______________
👇🏼Here's how I maintain the moisturization level in my skin:
1) Use oils that have SMALL molecular sizes.
Most conventional oils on the market contain LARGER molecular sizes.
This clogs pores and causes breakouts.
Oils with SMALLER molecular sizes can penetrate the deeper layers of your skin, nourishing & healing your skin from deep within.
Here is my favorite oil that I cannot live without!
2) Use oils that mimic your natural body oils to avoid skin irritations.
I only use oils that are 100% naturally-based, vegan and non-toxic for my super sensitive, dry, acne- and eczema-prone skin.
Eczema & other skin irritations are caused by an immune response by your body, which is trying to "get rid of" elements that do not belong to your body.
When you use products that contain toxic ingredients, your skin will react with redness, itchiness, patchy skin etc.
When you use oils that mimic your natural body oils, your body will accept it as its own, soothing and nourishing your skin.
Excessive oiliness is caused by dry skin that is lacking in moisturization. When you give it the natural oil it needs, your skin/scalp will balance its oil production, preventing excessive oiliness.
3) Bonus: Use oils that contain the vitamins & omega fatty-acids
Oil are not only for moisturization! The right oils contain nutrients that truly nourishes your skin!
Thank you so much for reading/watching, and let's stay moisturized this season♡
Love,
